Video recording during a live eSignature ceremony can serve multiple purposes - from ensuring transparency to acting as a reference for any future clarifications. In some instances, however, you might want to turn off the recording for privacy or other concerns. Here's a guide on how you can manage video recording both before and during a live ceremony.
Managing recording before joining the session
- As soon as you, the host, are preparing to start a session, you'll notice a red button next to the "Join Now" option.
- This red button indicates the recording feature. If it's illuminated, it signifies that recording will be enabled once the session starts.
- If you wish to disable recording, simply click on this red button. Conversely, if it's not illuminated (i.e., recording is off) and you wish to enable it, click the button.
- Once you've decided on your recording preference, click on "Join Now" to begin the session. The recording will start or remain off based on your choice.
Managing recording during the session:
- Even during an ongoing session, you have full control over the recording.
- At any point, if you wish to start or stop recording, look for the "Recording Session" option in red at the top left corner.
- Clicking it will either start or pause the recording, depending on its current status.
- Whenever you toggle the recording status, a prompt will appear asking for confirmation.
- Simply confirm your choice, and the session will proceed with your desired recording settings.
