Managing eNotary journal outside live session

Keeping a detailed and up-to-date eNotary journal is a critical part of a notary’s duties. Today, I’ll guide you on managing your eNotary journal outside of a live notarization session.

Steps to Manage Your eNotary Journal:

1. Access the e-Signature Platform:

   • Start by clicking on the main 'e-Signature' tab within your notarization platform.

2. Select Your RON Session:

   • On the left sidebar, find and click on ‘eNotary RON’.
   • Choose the notarization package you wish to manage.

3. Enter the Detail View:

   • Clicking on the package will bring you to its detailed view.

4. Locate the Journal Tab:

   • On the left sidebar within the detailed view, look for the ‘Journal’ tab.
   • Click on this to access the journal entries.

5. Edit and Enter Information:

   • Notarization Location: Click the pen icon to add or edit the location and save your changes.
   • Documents Section: Input or confirm details like the notarization type and fee. All documents related to the session will be listed here.
   • Signer Information: Each signer’s full name, address, and ID verification method (e.g., passport, driver's ID) should be recorded. This may auto-fill from the session data but can be manually entered or corrected.

6. Auxiliary Information:

   • Click the ‘Entries’ tab near the top to add additional notes.
   • Use the label and value fields to add any extra information, such as witness details or reasons for KBA exceptions.

7. Add Journal Entry:

   • After entering the relevant details, click ‘Add Journal Entry’ to save the new information to the journal.

8. Download the Journal:

   • If you need a physical copy of the journal, click on the ‘Download eNotary Journal’ button to save a copy.
