When you've sent or scheduled an eSignature package, you might find the need to preview it. This preview function allows you to see how the package appears to the signers and other participants, ensuring you understand their experience. The preview is particularly useful for double-checking the placement and accuracy of fields before signers access the document. In this guide, we detail the two methods you can use to preview an eSignature package:
Method 1: Previewing from from the listing page
- Begin by navigating to the eSignature package listing page on the platform.
- Identify and locate the specific eSignature package you wish to preview.
- On the right side of the package's listing, you'll spot an "Action" dropdown button.
- Click on this dropdown to unveil a list of actions.
- Among the available options, select "Preview".
- Upon clicking, a preview modal will pop up, displaying the eSignature package as it appears to participants. You can then navigate through this preview to see all the signing fields and other relevant details.
Method 2: Previewing the eSignature package detail page
- Alternatively, the eSignature package can also be previewed from its dedicated detail page.
- Access this page by clicking on the eSignature package's title or selecting the "View Details" button associated with it.
- Once on the detail page, look below the package's title. Here, you'll identify a "Preview" button.
- Click on this "Preview" button.
- Just as with the first method, a preview modal will emerge, allowing you to inspect the eSignature package from a participant's perspective.
