Occasionally, you might need to make significant modifications to an eSignature package, such as adding a new signing field. In such scenarios, redrafting the package is the way to go. However, it's essential to keep in mind that for standard eSignatures, once you redraft, all signers will have to "Agree & Finalize" again. If this poses a concern, consider removing the signer entirely. Here's how to redraft:
Redrafting the eSignature package from the listing page
- Navigate to the eSignature package you wish to redraft.
- On the package's listing, next to the package details, you'll find a dropdown menu labeled "Draft" or something similar.
- Click on this dropdown. Among the options available, select "Redraft."
- This action will revert the package to draft mode, allowing you to make any necessary changes. Once done, you can send or schedule the package again.
Redrafting the eSignature package from the detail page
- Click on the desired eSignature package's name or its "View Details" option to access the detailed page.
- Once on the details page, look for the "More" button, often found as a dropdown or a menu icon.
- Within the options presented, click on "Redraft."
- Like the method above, this will return the package to draft mode for modifications.
